The Role

You will close complex, multi-stakeholder B2B deals.

You are not a relationship manager. You are not a volume prospector. You are not a demo-only seller.

You are a deal operator.

You create forward motion under ambiguity by:

Forcing clean commitments ("yes / no / not now")
Multi-threading across economic buyer, champion, legal, and security
Making ROI and risk legible to different stakeholders
Preventing friendly stalls
Driving to a decision date

If a deal slips, you know exactly why.

If a deal dies, it doesn’t surprise you.

How You Operate

1. Commitment Discipline

Every conversation ends with:

A dated next step
A named owner
A defined outcome

No vague follow-ups. No “send something and we’ll review.”

2. Mutual Action Plans

You run clear, shared deal plans with:

Defined decision date
Stage exit criteria
Owners and deadlines
Explicit stall triggers

You are comfortable saying:
“This deal will not close unless X happens by Y.”

3. Risk Control

You actively manage:

Champion risk
Procurement risk
Security risk
Budget timing risk
Political misalignment

You surface risk early, not at the end.

4. Trust Packaging

You can produce:

C-Suite-ready ROI summaries
Security-ready governance narratives
Champion-ready internal pitch materials
Objection-aware proof packs

Who You Are

You have:

3 –12 years closing enterprise or complex B2B deals
Experience in governance-heavy environments (AI, security, infra, workflow, data)
Navigated procurement and security review cycles
Run structured deal processes (MAPs or equivalent)
Closed multi-stakeholder opportunities

You are:

Calm under pressure
Direct without being abrasive
Structured without being rigid
Comfortable holding tension
Willing to disqualify when necessary

You think in:

Decision dates
Economic leverage
Stakeholder mapping
Risk diagnosis
Time-to-commitment

First-Year Expectations

Year 1 is about control and revenue.

You will:

Establish disciplined deal execution
Close lighthouse customers
Improve win rate in governance-heavy deals
Shorten time-to-decision
Increase multi-thread penetration

Success is visible in:

Clean commitments
Clear deal risk articulation
Shorter sales cycles
Higher close rates

Activity does not equal progress. Control does.
